A government agency within the Greater Western Sydney area are seeking an experienced Project Support Officer. This agency is striving to enhance NSW and make it a better place to reside. Conveniently located in Parramatta, our client has various integrated divisions that are customer centric to improve community development.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven candidate who is looking to continue to build on their Administration and project skills. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role is a 6 months contract to assist a growing sector.  

The Role

As the Project Support Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to Project Managers on financial information and administrative.
  • Management of records and databases to adhere to administrative systems.
  • Maintenance and updating of journals, balance sheets, construction claims and other reports and documentation.
  • Processing of invoices and work orders.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, the below skills and experience is desired.

  • Project coordination and administration experience.
  • Capability to research and successfully prepare reports
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and a high quality of work while under pressure.
  • Strong communication with multiple stakeholders.
