Deliver a high level of Business Administrative support to our client, a global leader within the technology industry. Located in North Sydney, within close walking distance from the train station, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly talented and motivated team. This is a contract role until June 30th, 2025, with strong prospects to extend to a full 18-months.

The Opportunity

As a Business Administrator, you will act as a subject matter expert for all administrative needs across Australia within the Azure Core team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the tech industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Azure Core administrative needs.
  • Coordinate with team admins to support the onboarding of new hires and manage employee departures.
  • Manage seating arrangements and support individual and group seating requests.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to plan and coordinate large group meetings and morale events.
  • Partner with support staff across the organisation to ensure a consistent experience.
  • Anticipate needs and make administrative decisions on behalf of team leaders, aligned with business group priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with administrative operations policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain on-site processes and drive continuous improvements.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the tech industry.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills (written and verbal), organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to embrace ambiguity.
  • Technology: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams (Experience with Copilot is a plus).
  • Planning: Background in roles that require strong planning and project management skills.
