This global market leader within the manufacturing and consumer goods industry is currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Logistics Distribution Planer to join their fast-paced team. The Opportunity

This is a permanent opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual to join this international brand in the manufacturing and consumer goods industry. Working within a fast paced yet supportive team, this role requires someone with strong time management and stakeholder management skills. This organisation offers internal opportunities for progression, strong on-boarding and training will be provided to ensure long term success in this role.

 

The Role

As the Distribution Planner for this global leader, your day to day duties will include:
 

  • Plan and coordinate product distribution for customers whilst maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ensure orders are released for pick up before cut-off and monitor the delivery, damages and late order releases
  • Implement and provide training to 3PL booking team
  • Coordinate and communicate correct warehouses for dispatch of all orders
  • Review weekly and monthly reporting and assist with the transport data analysis

 

Desired Skills and Experience

To ensure success in this role, previous experience in a similar role will be required along with the following skills:

  • Experience within a logistics, supply chain, sales administration or customer service environment is highly regarded
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar environment
  • Strong systems knowledge and the ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Innovative thinker who can streamline processes and develop new work processes
  • Ability to be a team player and display a positive attitude to work
