THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a leading Digital Marketing and Advertising company based in the Melbourne CBD. They are currently looking for an experienced sales executive to join their highly successful team. This is a brand-new position and is part of a new, innovative sales process. The objective of this role will primarily be to sell software as a service (SaaS) to new and existing customers, as well as lead the face-to-face element of the sales process, working in collaboration with the sales engineer assigned to the account.

THE ROLE

  • Acquisition of new enterprise customers from multiple industry verticals
  • Close and sell SaaS to potential enterprise customers
  • Manage complex sales cycles, adaption of tendering processes (where necessary) and be solely responsible for extensive contract negotiations with decision-makers
  • Perform discovery calls, web demonstrations and customer meetings
  • Customer specific product presentations/workshops
  • Engage with prospects to understand pain points and in collaboration with the sales engineer, produce a business case to purchase
  • Leverage existing relationships to build a robust sales pipeline
  • Lead the broader sales team in each activity 
  • Have responsibility for personal target compliance, controlling your own sales pipeline and diligently manage Salesforce CRM platform
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
  • Passion, drive and desire to be part of a growing team that makes a difference for both the company and our clients
  • Proven track record in lead generation and sales
  • Exceptional in-person, verbal and written communication skills is a must (must be comfortable presenting alone in front of large groups)
  • 3-5 Years experience of enterprise sales in the technical software environment (preferably in the area of SaaS, marketing cloud solution, online marketing, SEO or similar)
  • Ability to work autonomously
