Aston Carter have partnered with a high performing FinTech brand in the search for a Business Analyst to support the business during a significant period of growth and transformation. This Australian owned business has gone from strength to strength with a unique product offering, and has recently begun its journey into international markets. Supporting the Product & Business Change team, this roles will suit BA’s with a passion for process re-engineering and system design, and who have strong experience working in an Agile environment.

The Role

Working in a team with industry best (Business Analysis) practices, standards and methodologies, the BA will be supporting both BAU project work and current significant change projects. The successful Business Analyst will need to establish strong relationships with a wide range of both Business & Technical stakeholders in order to successfully manage workload through the lifecycle of projects. This role will require someone with great multi-tasking and organisational skills to efficiently manage multiple project engagements, and offers opportunity to someone who is interest in performing Business Analyst & Scrum Master duties.


  • Product & strategy change; system upgrades, implementations, testing and decommissions
  • Meeting with key business stakeholders to understand business needs, gather information and analyse requirements
  • Assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of existing business operations to establish a base for developing improved structures, processes and systems
  • Analysing workflow to create process and information models and identify areas of potential improvement
  • Maintain strong and effective relationships with key personnel
  • Multiple large Scale change projects alongside BAU work


To be successful in the role you will;

  • Have a strong understanding of Agile Methodology
  • Have strong analysis / database skills (SQL Preferred)
  • An understanding of process improvement methodologies, related concepts, and frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder management capability
  • Ability to work autonomously and problem solve
